Why OdbO exists

It began with a feeling that arrived before the words.

OdbO was created from lived experience with anxiety, panic attacks and feelings that were difficult to explain, hold and move through.

There are moments when someone knows something is happening inside, but explaining it feels impossible. Advice can arrive too early. “What’s wrong?” can feel like another question to solve. Even naming the feeling may be more than the moment can hold.

OdbO began with a simple question:

What could hold a feeling?

Not fix it. Not erase it. Not diagnose it. Not demand that someone understand it straight away.

Just give it somewhere to land.

That idea shaped every part of OdbO. A patch gives something invisible a visible symbol. The tactile form gives the hands something physical to return to. Guided audio creates a moment of pause. Reflection gives the experience somewhere to continue when the person is ready.

Not everything we carry needs to be understood straight away.

What matters for creators: OdbO is not built around fixing emotion. It is built around recognition, form, touch and reflection. That is the deeper reason the product exists.

The removable OdbO form

The grey tactile form is OdbO itself. Held directly, it gives a softer stress-ball-style squeeze. Inside the Bunny Disguise, the surrounding plush changes the resistance and creates a firmer pressure experience.

The Bunny Disguise

The Bunny is OdbO’s first Disguise, not a second character hidden inside the product. OdbO’s pink feet become the Bunny’s cheeks when inserted. Remove OdbO and the cheeks disappear because they were the feet all along.

Emotion Patch texture

Emotion Patches are not only visual symbols. Their embroidered construction adds another tactile surface to touch, trace and handle as part of the physical experience.

The packaging experience

The First Release packaging is designed to feel collectible and giftable. Visual contrast and finishes such as spot UV create details that can be noticed by sight and touch, turning the box into part of the unboxing experience rather than disposable packaging.

Visual expression without fixed labels

Emotion Patches are intentionally open to interpretation. A symbol can mean something completely different to different people. The brand provides the form, not the emotional answer.

The important distinction: OdbO does not have only “two tactile feels.” The tactile experience can include the plush exterior, the firmer pressure created while OdbO is inside the Bunny, the softer removable form, embroidered patch surfaces, packaging finishes and the act of physically moving the pieces through the ritual.

Emotion Patch intelligence

The meaning belongs to the human choosing it.

Emotion Patches are the visual language of OdbO, but they are intentionally not assigned fixed emotional labels.

A cloud could feel calm, gloomy, quiet, cool, disconnected, uncertain or completely personal. Another person may see the same patch and feel something entirely different.

That openness matters because OdbO is not trying to tell people what they feel. It gives them a symbol they can use before, during or after they find the words themselves.

The brand gives the feeling a form. The human gives that form its meaning.

Across the OdbO world, more than 40 Standard, Limited and Exclusive Emotion Patch designs are planned. The range is designed to support expression, collectibility and future drops rather than become a fixed emotional dictionary.

Founding Voices can grow through the program as their contribution grows. The 10%, 15% and 20% levels reflect increasing creator involvement, from sharing OdbO to creating original content and building an ongoing creator relationship. The 25% Creator Partner level is earned through strong ongoing contribution and eligible tracked sales, or offered by invitation.

What counts as original creator content?

Creator-shot or creator-made content published through the creator’s own channels, including original videos, Reels, TikToks, Shorts, photography, carousels or equivalent pieces that meaningfully feature OdbO.

How are sales tracked?

Use the approved affiliate link, code or platform attribution provided to you. Eligible sales must be successfully tracked through the approved system to count toward commission or sales thresholds.

How placement works: applicants can express interest in the 10%, 15% or 20% program. Final placement is reviewed and approved by the OdbO Team. The 25% Creator Partner level is earned through strong ongoing contribution and AU$1,000+ in eligible tracked sales, or may be offered by invitation. Creator status may be reviewed or adjusted where activity changes or content stops for an extended period.

Is OdbO just a plush?

No. OdbO is a collectible comfort companion built around a removable tactile form, open-ended Emotion Patches, guided Hear with Me audio and REFLECT journaling. The plush form is part of a wider tactile and reflective experience.

Is the grey piece another OdbO inside OdbO?

No. The grey removable tactile form is OdbO itself. The Bunny is OdbO’s first Disguise.

Why does OdbO come out of the Bunny?

OdbO was never designed to be permanently attached to the Bunny. The grey removable form is OdbO itself. The Bunny is simply OdbO’s first Disguise.

In the OdbO story, OdbO chose the Bunny because it represents one of the softest and purest forms it could take into the human world; gentle, familiar and protective. But the Bunny was always intended to be only the beginning.

OdbO was created with a much bigger world in mind. Because the Disguise is removable, OdbO can eventually take on new forms, personalities and collectible Disguises as the universe grows.

The removable design also changes how OdbO feels in your hands. Inside the Bunny, the surrounding plush creates a firmer, more resistant squeeze. Remove OdbO and the grey tactile form becomes softer and more stress-ball-style to hold.

So the removable design serves two purposes: it creates different tactile experiences today, while allowing OdbO to grow into an entire world of future Disguises tomorrow.

Why do the Bunny’s cheeks disappear?

Because the cheeks are actually OdbO’s pink feet. When OdbO is inserted into the Bunny Disguise, the feet become the cheeks. Remove OdbO and the cheeks leave with it.

What does an Emotion Patch mean?

Whatever it means to the person choosing it. OdbO does not assign a fixed emotional label to each patch. The same symbol can carry completely different meanings for different humans.

Are all 40+ patches available now?

More than 40 Standard, Limited and Exclusive designs are planned across the wider OdbO world. Final production and release selection depend on feasibility and future product planning, so not every planned design is guaranteed to be produced.

Is OdbO for children?

OdbO is designed as a collectible comfort companion for ages 14+ and should not be presented as a children’s toy.

Does OdbO treat anxiety or panic attacks?

No. OdbO is not a medical product, treatment or therapy replacement. It can be described as a tactile grounding companion, comfort object or reflection experience, but creators should not make medical or treatment claims.

What is Hear with Me?

Hear with Me is OdbO’s guided audio experience. The tracks were developed around grounding principles with clinical psychologist input. They are for general wellbeing support and are not a substitute for professional care.

Why is there a journal?

REFLECT with OdbO gives the experience somewhere to continue after the tactile or guided moment. It can help users record what they carried, what shifted and what they noticed over time.

Will there be more OdbO designs?

The Bunny is OdbO’s first Disguise. The wider world is intended to grow through future Disguises, Emotion Patch releases, collectible accessories, collaborations and other OdbO experiences.
